Every kid's dream is a journey to the Disneyland. To see the great Mickey Mouse and his wacky gang quite fascinates a child. Although I am amused myself, my daughter prefers the peaceful, quiet and indulging scene of the countryside in London.
We discovered a recreational haven at the core of Aldenham Country Park. Its impressive vast land and open water is a sure-fire hit for treading, sight-seeing, picnics, and resigning to
nature's alluring calm. Toddlers also find thrill in visiting Pooh's '100 Aker Wood", where you'll see surreal homes of Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Tigger and Pooh.
Aside from the animated characters they enjoy, it is also fascinating to catch a glimpse of the breeding ground for their animal inhabitants like the Longhorn Cattle, Tamworth pigs, White-faced Woodland, Leicester sheep and the Bagot goats you won't ordinarily find in zoos.
For my daughter, it is truly a toddler's paradise. She enjoyed bonding with the family and playing with other kids in their adventure hub. She felt one with nature, one with the family and most of all, she felt freedom and solace in sheer naiivete. Magical, indeed!
What makes Aldenham Country Park stand out is their sense of hospitality and sincerity that I find conducive to family moments. Its amiable atmosphere is very contagious. I'd also like my child to flourish with love for nature and
innocent pleasure.
